COMING UP THIS WEEK!

Reading: During whole group reading we will be reading the book The 39 Clues and working on higher level thinking questions, keep up with the clues of the mystery and having to infer information in order to solve the mystery. During small group we will be working on indivdual projects.  Two groups are working with Mrs. Massey on a reading program called SOAR.  Two other groups are working with Miss Coon on either a Dolphin Story Powerpoint or a Boxcar Children Diorama.

Math: Metric Measurements and Multiplication

Writing: Imaginative prompt on a Magical Door that can take you anywhere you wish to go.  Students choose one place to go and then choose 3 events that happen to them there and to have a great time using thier imaginations.

Science: Starting the Stars, Moon and Sun Unit.  We will be working with our shadows this week.  What causes them?  Do they change sizes? If so, why do they change sizes?

Social Studies: Working on creating an advertisement for a piece of technology you created. 

 


 

Class Announcements
Hightouch Hightech Field Trip
The professor from Hightouch, Hightech will be here on December the 8th to do another in school field trip with us.  This time we will be doing the class called "Earth Works".  The students will be doing many hands on activities dealing with all different types of soils.  Our class will be having our professor come from 1pm-2:30pm. Please feel free to join us if you can :)
